No, everything can be completed by email. We need a clear scan or picture of your document(s) and a working email from you to proceed. For certified translation, certification only pertains to who prepares the translation (a NAATI certified translator), and the accuracy of the translation based on the document copy sighted. This is not the same as certify true copy, which is normally prepared by a notary public or JP for the purposes of confirming a copy of the document is the same as the original when the physical documents are presented. Certify true copy is a one-to-one comparison of documents, and NAATI translators do not provide this service.

Yes, translations are delivered by email by default. Your location is not a problem for receiveing NAATI certified translations by email, even from outside Australia.

A hard copy of the original certified translation is sometimes required, for example in passport application, we offer express postage within Australia for sending translation hard copy.

There is no expiry for certified translation, just as the accuracy of the translation does not change with time. If you see a validity date in some versions of the NAATI stamp, that date only pertains to when the translator needs to renew his/her certification in order to continue preparing certified translation. If the receiving authority requires the translation to be completed only within a certain time-frame before submission, please take note accordingly as that is a separate matter.
